My insatiable curiosity has led me to poke at the dark corners of history and reveal them to all who wander my way. Telling those stories is my joy—it’s how I connect, inspire and nourish. After 30 years in Portland, Oregon, I now live in a small town in the eastern part of the state, where I build community, conjure up delicious soups for my neighbors and collect critters.
